SHAWN B. TUMAN is an associate with the firm, where he brings a multidisciplinary perspective shaped by experience at the intersection of law, international finance and public policy. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Tuman developed a background in financial services and commercial banking, working closely with complex business frameworks, regulatory considerations, and transactional environments that continue to inform his legal analysis and client approach.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Tuman clerked for the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, where he gained exposure to comparative constitutional law and high-level judicial decision making within a developing European legal system. Mr. Tuman also clerked for the Honorable Anthony Merlino, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean County. As a graduate of James Madison University, Mr. Tuman earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master’s in European Union Policy Studies, completing his graduate studies in Florence, Italy. Mr. Tuman received his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law where he was a Leadership Fellow. Mr. Tuman is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey, with admission to the New York bar pending.
